About

Life is beautiful. And life is also hard.

We can get lost in the difficulties and get stuck in overwhelm. Or we can choose to believe God has set us free to live with joy, even in the hard parts.

For most of my life, I’ve bucked against the battle that comes with living for Jesus, looking for an “easier” way. I’ve tried to work my way out of anxiety and into peace. I’ve attempted to make everyone happy so I feel in control. And I lived most of my life without realizing I matter just because I exist, not because of anything I do.

But God has never stopped catching me where I’m at and redirecting me. He keeps showing up to show me the path that leads to freedom. So here I am, writing, and teaching women what he’s taught me.

In this online space, I promise to remind you of the truth, the same stuff that I preach to myself every day.

You don’t have to try so hard.
You belong.
You are God’s.
You are free in Jesus.
You can live with joy.

Who I am
I’m a farm girl at heart, a light-hearted, book-loving extrovert. My daddy called me a chatterbox and I’ve never grown out of the title. I’m a recovering perfectionist, a rescued legalist and a healing workaholic.  I’m the wife/mom member of Team Cravillion, with a hubby who pastors middle and high school students, and three superhero kids with ideas as big as their energy. We’re currently making Kentucky our home.

What I write
I’m a Bible teacher and a disciple-maker at heart. I write about living a deeper spiritual life and digging into God’s Word to find the truth we need for everyday living.  I provide practical Bible study help and devotional articles to help us shift perspective and live more alive.
